IWC – INTEGRAL WATERPROOFING COMPOUND

Integral Waterproofing Compound for Concrete & Mortar

IS 2645 : 2003 – Integral Cement Waterproofing

Product Description

IWC Integral Waterproofing Compound is an advanced liquid additive specially
formulated to enhance the waterproofing properties of concrete and cement
mortars. It is added directly into the mix to reduce water absorption and
permeability, thereby increasing the durability, strength and service life of
concrete structures exposed to moisture or water pressure.

Applications

  • Basements, underground structures and retaining walls.
  • Water tanks, reservoirs, swimming pools and fountains.
  • Roof slabs, terraces and podium slabs.
  • Foundations, pile caps and structural concrete elements.
  • Bridge decks, tunnels and precast concrete elements.
  • Cement mortars for plastering and rendering in wet areas.

Special Features

  • Complies with IS 2645 : 2003 for integral cement waterproofing compounds.
  • Significantly reduces water absorption and permeability of concrete.
  • Improves strength, durability and resistance to weathering.
  • Enhances resistance to certain chemical attacks and corrosion.
  • Helps extend the service life of reinforced concrete structures.
  • Compatible with various types of cement and concrete mixes.

Suitable Substrates

  • Cement-based concrete for cast-in-place and precast elements.
  • Reinforced concrete structures and slabs.
  • Cement mortars for plastering and rendering.
